Australia being the only developed country in the southern hemisphere and based on commonalities of both countries (tropical climate, soil & land or water management); the chamber believes that there are many areas where Australia has expertise, technologies and programs with Asian countries that are transferable to DR Congo. Areas of interest include: environment, renewable energy, soil & land management, agribusiness and farming.
Australian, Democratic Republic of Congo institutions and our chamber work for the establishment of a forum to enable capacity building and technology transfer in the above and others areas of common interest in the frame of United Nations sustainable development goals (SDG).
The chamber concomitantly promotes, as a facilitator, the construction of training facilities in DR Congo to enable skills transfer and promote entrepreneurship f the r disadvantaged group (youth and women) in region where Australian mining companies operates.
Common researches projects between scientists of both countries will be promoted by chamber and encouraged.
